Stop the press! We have some fantastic, amazing, incredible, wonderful news from Dumphries Village…

We now have clean running water on tap! The local government has put in 10 communal taps on the main street supplying fresh, clean municipal water to the community! Pride ‘n Purpose will continue to work with the community to fast track and improve access to safe water…watch this space for developments! Read More

As January draws to a close, 2010 at The Roof Gardens is already in full swing and we’re looking forward to another fantastic, fun-filled month in February. After a successful 2009, we definitely have reason to party!

January has seen the launch of ‘Live at The Roof Gardens’ - a new weekly live music night in association with Jack Daniels, that takes Virgin back to its musical roots and showcases the latest up and coming UK musical talent. The route from Australia to Necker Island is one against the prevailing weather conditions, which means that rather than sailing with the trade winds along the trade route, we’re headed in the opposite direction.

In real terms what this means is we’re beating into swells, rather than riding them.  We’re swimming upstream rather than going with the currents. Read More
