In March, Necker Island co-hosted the inaugural British Virgin Islands Kite Jam, supported by the man himself, Sir Richard Branson and sponsored by the BVI Tourism Board. Kite Boarding lovers from around the globe descended on the British Virgin Islands (known for its ideal wind and water conditions) for a series of races and freestyle competitions.
