I hope you’ve had a good couple of weeks; we’re getting into the swing of the summer programme now, and it seems that when the weather is good these days it is the perfect taste of what is to come in the summer (hopefully!!). We’ve enjoyed some fantastic evenings over the last few weeks in between the torrential downpours!

This Friday the club opens at 7pm for after-work drinks, so head along to enjoy a ‘Sunset on the Roof’ cocktail and get your weekend off to the perfect start. And if that isn’t enough for you we’ve got our Ibiza Angel Masseuses and Shisha in the Spanish Gardens on Saturday night, making The Roof Gardens the perfect place to shake off the week’s stresses and strains. Hello Party People!!

We’ve been spending some time here at The Roof Gardens looking back over the past year, one which included some fantastic events, including our own 30th Birthday Party and a spectacular Women’s Tennis Association Pre-Wimbledon Party.

We have collected up some statistics and it makes for pretty staggering reading! The past year we have served up over 53,000 cocktails, from Lychee Martinis to made-to-measure bespoke cocktails for very special nights, the bar team have created a wealth of smooth and sumptuous cocktails this year. I’m sure you have all enjoyed one or two!

We have also seen lots of celebrating in the club; everything from the couple who recently got engaged at The Club, to our incredible New Year’s Eve celebration. As we all know the best way to celebrate is a glass of bubbles, and I’m sure if you’ve had a special occasion at The Club then you will have shared in one of more than 65,000 glasses of champagne that we have poured this year! Hello Party People,

It has been a busy two weeks at The Club since I last wrote on the blog. We had the final weekend of live music, which was a resounding success with some outstanding performances and a real buzz that was the perfect end to a memorable season of live music. Barratt Waugh wowed the crowds with his impeccable vocal on the Saturday evening, plenty of cocktails were poured and guests enjoyed the marquee for one last time until it returns in October this year.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who made live music such a success this winter; from the performers to the staff at The Roof Gardens, everyone involved made the whole process great fun and contributed to some of the best nights the club has seen. Thanks also must go to those of you who came along to see one of the many acts we have had in the marquee since October. It has been the best year since we started putting live music on at The Roof Gardens and it has been so exciting to have so many of you come in to enjoy the acts every Friday and Saturday – we’re very excited about the coming winter’s programme – the planning for which is already underway!!

Hi All,

It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the club, with preparations for Summer coming together nicely. The Marquee comes down at the end of the month and we’re making sure everything is ready to go for the swift change from beautiful live music venue to stunning Summer barbecue haven.

In the club the atmosphere has been fantastic, as we’ve had some great nights, including our very special St. Patrick’s Day spectacular, held last Saturday. With the celebrations coinciding with the final day of the RBS 6 Nations Live championship we opened early for a very special day showing all the games  live in the clubhouse including, of course, the thrilling game between England and Ireland. The Guinness was flowing and, for those with a more delicate palette, delicious Black Velvet cocktails were mixed specially for St. Patrick’s Day by the bar team. There was plenty of green on show and the Irish party spirit was infectious, all making for a great night of fun and frolics.

Hi Party People,

To get everyone in the mood for the arrival of spring (just a couple of weeks away), we have a very special night planned with our Countdown to Spring Party this Friday!  Between 8pm and 10pm all guests will be given complimentary entry to The Club, for a night of drinks and dancing and the first 100 guests to arrive before 9pm will be given a complimentary delicious spring cocktail made especially for the night by our fantastic bar team! You can of course also buy tickets to see live music in The Live Lounge for Friday, as the incredible rock and roll whirlwind that is The Lipstick Melodies takes The Roof Gardens by storm. The band has a reputation for whipping up a frenzy at their shows, and with links to some of the indie scene’s coolest cats, The Lipstick Melodies are the not-to-be-missed show in London this Friday. It seems the sun has got its hat on today and feels like spring is starting to make an appearance which is very exciting and has certainly put a spring in my step! 

As you all know February 14th was Valentine’s Day and we had a very special night at The Roof Gardens last weekend to celebrate. Love was definitely in the air, as one brave guest chose to propose to his partner, microphone-in-hand, in front of the whole club! Brave Mischa and his now fiancée Peta made Roof Gardens history as she said ‘yes’ straight away, and a huge celebration ensued. The atmosphere in The Club made for an incredible night that will not be quickly forgotten, as congratulations came from everyone, including a laser projection which shone out in the night sky! In the last couple of weeks we have had some fantastic nights in The Club, not least when the snow came down and guests were treated to a real Winter Wonderland atmosphere.
